Chateaubriand

Since you rarely (no pun intended) see chateaubriand on menus anymore, I ordered it. My order was perfectly cooked and ordered the side of lyonnaise potatoes. You v Can't go wrong with crispy potatoes and bacon.

Filet Mignon

Our whole experience. From the moment we arrived and we're greeted with a hand signed card from all the staff for our anniversary, to the sublime champagne, the decadent and exquisite appetizers the crown jewel was my filet. It was perfection on a plate. The steak itself was tall and held a beautiful charred crust on the outside. Inside a perfect medium rare awaited as it rested atop the most delicious cream peppercorn sauce I have ever tasted. The carrots were a sous vide delight while the potoroos was on a whole new level that I never knew a potato could occupy. Everything exceeded our expectations and we now have a new favorite place to go out to eat. Try the filet, you will be glad you did!

Lamb Rack

The full rack of lamb - perfectly sous vide lamb full of delicate flavor, tender, juicy, succulent. Just perfect. Shrimp and polenta - the menu says 'shrimp and grits'. However, the chef talented as he is and creative blended a New Orleans shrimp flavor, mixed with a Cajun tomato base and added Italian polenta. OUTSTANDING! You have to try it. Well the onion soup based with a real veal stock is simply Devine. Service? Trey was very knowledgeable, providing exquisite attention to every detail and just a really nice guy from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. We recommend this bistro a believe they are worth returning to time and again. You will not regret trying anything on the menu, because this is a young chef who uses old school cooking methods. Rare to experience such an outstanding establishment rivaling anything on the West Coast.

Duck Confit

When you arrive they make you feel so welcomed. You arrive as guests and leave as friends. Best restaurant in Pinellas County and I've lived here all my life. The Duck Confit is their signature dish and it was fabulous! Even the sides (potatoes and red cabbage) were amazing! Best French Onion soup ever! We had the stuffed mushrooms for appetizer and I don't even like mushrooms but the stuffing sounded so delicious I had to try one and now I'm hooked! I've had so much on this menu and it never disappoints.

Filet Mignon

This was our first time to the restaurant this past Thursday and immediately this restaurant leapfrogged to the top! First, lets start with the mussels in white wine sauce. The sauce itself anyone can just drink like water; that's how good it is! But, we had to get the bread and to dip the bread in the sauce is divine! I had the filet mignon just kissing medium cooked and it was spectacular! Then, when I took my fork and dipped it into that rich, creamy peppercorn cognac sauce it was about game over! Drop the fork! [Note: my wife had the chateaubriand and shrimp with the lobster BBQ sauce and she was head over heels with her dish]. I couldn't even get to the dessert I was so full! Our service was just as impeccable as the food and it seems the staff just isn't the staff they're a family dedicated to quality and service. Our waiter didn't skip a beat and he was tending the bar as well! I'm one of those people who don't mind paying more as long as the food is excellent. This restaurant fits that criteria with service, atmosphere and food so you will not be disappointed......

Elk Chop

The elk chops are amazing! Great flavor, tender, perfectly cooked and with the rest of the dish I felt like I was having a holiday feast!! So good, will get these over and over!

Chateau & Shrimp

We made reservations to celebrate our anniversary and were greeted with a signed card at our table. How nice! All night long the staff was extremely attentive and friendly. Our appetizers, entrees and desserts were simply out of this world. No lie, I heated up my leftovers the next day and licked the plate clean. No shame. We also ordered cocktails which were outstanding. The staff brought complimentary champagne to top off an amazing meal. I cannot wait to return. What a gem this place is.

Duck a l'Orange

The duck was cooked perfectly but the charred Brussels sprouts were amazing I never knew sprouts could taste so good. The dauphinois potatoes were creamy, but the citrus of the orange really balanced it out. The only thing is I also got to try the Elk dish my husband ordered and that was even better!! Highly recommend the flaming sazeracs, as long as you like whiskey of course.
